Mr. Johnson worked most of his career as a sales manager for Archer Daniels Midland.
His interests included music and golf, and he was a longtime member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
Adolph is survived by his sons, Daniel (Patricia) Johnson, David (Lisa) Johnson, and Greg (Tina) Johnson; his grandchildren; and his sister, Marion (Dave) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, LaVerne Johnson; his parents; and his siblings, Wallace, Roger, and Isabel.
Visitation from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 2:30 pm, Friday, March 22, 2013 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
