The daughter of John and Mary Katherine Mitchell Gossage, she was born January 25, 1930 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas. She married Arvil Lee Chancey, on September 22, 1948 in California. She was a Homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda Kay Chancey; one brother, Ed Gossage; one sister, Clovie Powell.
Survivors include her husband Arvil L. Chancey of Russellville; one son, Edward Chancey of Morrilton; three daughters, Karen Greer & husband Richard of Dardanelle, Gaile Kendrick & husband Dewayne of Russellville, Susan Campbell & husband Johnny of Russellville; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one brother, John H. Gossage & wife Ida Bea of Ozark; two sisters, two sisters, Vera Bramlett and Lucy McCartney both of Ozark.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
