Last Rites Today
Last rites were to be said today at 2 p.m. in Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel for William H. Coleman, 80, retired farmer in the Luther area. Mr. Coleman died Tuesday.
He was born Oct. 7, 1888 in Paris, Tex., and came to Howard County in 1931, retiring in 1965 after developing a heart condition. Rites were to be conducted by a former pastor, Dr. P. D. O'Brien, Houston, and burial was to be in Mt. Olive Memorial Park. He leaves one son, two daughters, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were M. B. Maxbell Jr., Ackerly, Butch Hodnett, Lloyd Hodnett, Jim Hodnett, David Barr, James Barr, Leroy Shafter and J. M. Sterling of Vincent.
