Jacob T. Hieb 63, retired farmer and a resident of McClusky and local area for 41 years died at 3:55 A.M. Sunday at the Harevey hospital where he been a patient for about 25 hours.He had been afflicted with a stomach ailment for some time. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at McClusky. It was the date of his birthday.Mr. Hieb was born Aug 14 1878 in South Russia and came to the U.S. to take up a homestead near Lincoln Valley.He was married to Miss Sophie Fuller in 1904. The couple ere parents of 12 children, eight of whom are living. Mrs Hieb preceded her husband in death in 1936 In 1937 Mr Hieb and Mrs Pauline Blamhaven were married. Besides his wife, wife Mr. Hieb leaves the following sons and daughters- Mrs Lydia Huft, Edward Hieb, Mrs Emma Huft, Emil and Richard Hieb all of Lincoln Valley. Mrs Bertha Helm, Pickardville, Mrs Edna Schwandt, Thorton, Calif. Jake and Helen Hieb McClusky, also his 90 year old father, Theobald Hieb of McClusky and the follwong sisters Mrs. Schauer, Jamestown;Mrs Katherina Huft and Mrs Christina Zinke, McClusky; Mrs Magdalena Stroshera and Mrs Barbara Schwartz, Canada; Mrs Margaretta Felchle, California; Mrs Christ Hausauer McClusky and Mrs Dorth Drein Washington. Berg Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
