Arthur is the son of John Wesley Cross and Lucy Reading Hukell.
Arthurs 1st wife was Cassie Thomson (Alias THOMPSON) the daughter of James J. Thomson and Mary Minerva Waldruff.
They married in Chalmers Church in Ottawa Nov 22 1911

The death of Arthur Cross, 596 MacLaren Street, occurred yesterday in a local hospital following a short illness. He was 78.
Born and educated in Ottawa, Mr. Cross was married in 1920 to the former Martha Farrell. He was a member of Chalmers United Church. He was a confectioner with Canada Bread Company for 15 years, retiring in 1952.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Frank, Montreal, one daughter, Mrs. L. D. Dunn (Florence), St. Catharines; three sisters, Mrs. Lulu Toop, Edmonton; Mrs. Lyida Linton and Miss Carrie Cross, both of Ottawa and four grandchildren.
The body is at Mr. Cross' home where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. J. R. Urquhart officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Hull.
