William Ace, 57, of Route 2, Emlenton who received internal injuries April 13 when kicked in the chest and abdomen by a colt, died at 6:30 PM Sunday in the Franklin Hospital. His condition had been regarded as serious since he was admitted to the hospital.
Mr. Ace was a son of Jacob and Matilda Harckerberry Ace. He moved from Perryville to near Emlenton on November 1, 1920. He was a member of the Parker I. O.O.F. Lodge.
Surviving are his wife and the following children: Clarence L., Charles, Donald and Melvin F. of Emlenton; Mrs. Emma Lawrence of Mineral Ridge, Ohio and Ida Ace at home. The following brothers and sister also survive: Hays of Hooker; Albert and Floyd of Callensburg; John of New Bethlehem and Mrs. Ella Murray of Callensburg.
The body was removed to the Criswell Funeral Home at Emlenton.
