Henry Sherman Johnson, 65, of Glasgow, died Dec. 5, 1991, in St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, after a long illness. He was a native of Boomer and lived most of his life in Kanawha County. He was a retired miner at Donaldson Mine Division of Valley Camp Coal Co. He was a Navy veteran and attended Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was a UMW member.
Surviving: wife, Lorena "Sis" Hudnall Johnson; four sons, three daughters; 13 grandchildren.
