Ethel was the beloved daughter of Joseph F. Rochelle and Lina Buck Rochelle. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pleasant Quince Brown and brothers, Edward F. Rochelle and Wilbur E. Rochelle. Mrs. Rourk was a member of St. Andrews Covenant Presbyterian Church, and was a sales associate with J.C. Penney for many years. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, William R. Rourk and sons Robert O. Brown, C. Wayne Brown, and a daughter Annette Brown Smith, twenty grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois R. Barker and Evelyn R. Pratt and three brothers, J. Lee Rochelle, Norman P. Rochelle and William R. Rochelle. Ethel passed away at New Hanover Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
