DANTE PAUL JACUZZI , 75, of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 1997. He was born in Berkeley, Calif. in 1921 to Valeriano and Giuseppina Jacuzzi . He attended the University of California at Berkeley and served as a pilot in the Naval Air Corps from 1943 to 1946. He married Rosalyn DeVoynne Underhill on Dec. 8, 1945. From 1946 to 1966, he was General Manager of Jacuzzi Brothers in St. Louis before moving to Little Rock. There he served as Executive Vice President of Jacuzzi Brothers and Jacuzzi International and as a member of its board of directors until his retirement in 1980.
He was the Italian Consulate for the State of Arkansas, past president of the National Water Well Association, member of Christ the King Church where he served as chairman of the Building Committee and a faithful member of the Serra Club. He also served on the board of directors of the American Surgery Center and on the Endowment Committee for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. His greatest passion in life was to help others. His greatest joy was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalyn and five children and their spouses.
