Mrs. Andersen was born Aug. 22, 1874, in Fountain Green, Sanpete County, a daughter of Edwin and Hannah Gundland Robertson. She was raised in Fountain Green and on June 23, 1897, she married in the Manti TempIe to John Anderson.
After their marriage, the couple moved to Spring City and were five years before going to Brighton Ward near Lake City. One year later, they moved to East Garland, Box Elder County where they lived until 1914, when they moved to Tremonton. They had been residents of Brigham City for the past __ years.
Mrs. Andersen was active as a visiting teacher for the Relief Society, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for many years.
She is survived by her husband; 4 sons, J. Franklin Andersen, Napa, ID; Rulon (Bill) and Robert J. Andersen, Tremonton, and Verl Andersen, Garland; five daughters, Mrs. LaVon Andersen and Mrs. Ruby Anderson, both of Bear River City; Mrs. Lorna Adams, Pocatello, Mrs. Grace Homer, Tremonton, and Mrs. Etta McInturff, Redondo Beach, Calif; 23 grand-children; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Isaacson, East Garland, and Mrs. Henry Oyler, Tremonton, and one brother, Dave Roberts, Provo.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Brigham City Sixth Ward, by Bishop Richard Hansen.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rogers Mortuary, Tremonton, and from 10 a.m. Until time of funeral at the family home in Brigham City.
Burial will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
