Bowsher, Toledo superintendent of schools, delivered the commencement address at ceremonies in the men's gymnasium. Receiving degrees were Dale D. Greenfield - Dale D. Allen, 58, of 2541 SW 14th Street, Pahokee, Florida, died at 4 P.M. Sunday, October 6, 1991, in Everglade Memorial Hospital, Pahokee.
He was born August 26, 1933, in Ross County to Thurston C. and Mary Margaret (McCloskey) Allen.
Mr. Allen was retired from the Palm Beach School System following 25 years of service as a school teacher.
Mr. Allen was a former teacher at McClain High School and former varsity basketball coach.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Carolyn Miley Allen, whom he married August 1, 1953; daughters, Cynthia Vorhees of Gainesville, Florida, Laura Williams
of Gainesville, Florida, Sheryl Hensley of Okinawa and Wendy Allen at home; four grandchildren; and a brother, Phillip Allen of Coral Springs, Florida.
Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Mary Helen Miley of Greenfield.
Funeral services will be held at the Murray Funeral Home in Greenfield at 10:30 A.M. Friday with Rev. Mark Click officiating.
Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 P.M. Thursday.
