Mr. Robert H. Breedlove, age 73, of Blairsville, GA, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2001, in Copper Basin Hospital in Copperhill, TN.

Mr. Breedlove was born in Fannin County, GA, on Sunday, May 6, 1928, a son of the late Robert Homer Breedlove, Sr., and Maude Patterson Breedlove. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps, having served in The Korean War. Mr. Breedlove had lived most of his life in this area, and had been employed at the Tennessee Copper Company. He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his sons: Kenny Breedlove, of Blue Ridge, GA, James R. Breedlove, of Loganville, GA. Dwayne Breedlove of McCaysville, GA, and John Breedlove, of Blairsville, GA; two brothers: William Jewell Breedlove, of Blairsville, and Charles Edward Breedlove, also of Blairsville; five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 22, 2001, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Rev. Marvin Poole, and Rev. Scott Baugh officiating. Special music was presented by The Faith Singers. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Fritz Baugh, Danny Blair, Jimmy Russell, Dough Breedlove, Don Denny, and Chip Kaylor. Interment was in the family cemetery.
