Ruth Connelly, 95, of Grayson passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness, on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
She was born November 26, 1927, in Carter County a daughter of the late John and Laura Ramey Everman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl; daughter, Laura Boswell; granddaughter, Chris Ketner; great-great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Carter-McDowell; brothers, John, Russell, Clyde, Willis, Woody, and Arthur; sisters, Lily, Mabel Underwood, and Pansy Foster.
Ruth was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church at Oldtown and spent her life caring for others. She had been the office manager for Dr. Mrudulah Shah in Bellefonte.
She is survived by, three daughters, Carlene (Richard) Riner of Eagle Lake, FL; Verna Connelly of Grayson; Vickie (Joe) Howard of Fayetteville, WV; and devoted brother, Edgar Everman of Grayson. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren whom she very dearly loved.
In lieu of flowers, donate to your local church. She loved her LORD and her church.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Everman Cemetery, just off the AA Highway. Friends may call 1:00 P.M. until service time at the cemetery.
