She was the youngest child of that marriage and grew up with two older brothers and two older sisters listed below.

Sister - Velma C Mooney 1902 – 1998
Sister - Linnie Alice Mooney 1905 – 1992
Brother - Earl Henry Mooney 1908 – 1998
Alma first married Roy James Gordon and together they had a son Loyd Douglas Gordon in July 1931.
Alma later married Edmond Claude Davis and they had one child together, Rev. Bobby Don Davis in 1938.
In 1940 they resided in Quanah, Hardeman County, Texas then moved to Pampa, Gray County, Texas where they lived for the rest of their lives.
Her second husband, Edmond and his late wife Mary Irene Griffin 1910-1934 previously had one child, Kenneth Wayne Davis in 1930 whom Alma then helped raise from a young boy following his birth mother's death at 24.
Alma died on September 5, 1994, in Amarillo, Texas, at the age of 82 and was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Pampa, Gray County, Texas.
