Georgia, 58, widow of Floyd Whittemore, died Wednesday at her home.
She was born in Highgate, Jan 9, 1918. She was formerly employed at the Hotel Huntington.
Mrs Whittemore leaves one daugher, Mrs Carolyn LaPlante of St Albans; on son Alvin Whittemore of Fairfax; a stepson, Floyd Whittemore Jr of Panton; three brothers,William "Bill" Ling of Montgomery Center, Robert Harold Ling of Jericho and Albert Ling of Burlington; Nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Driscoll and Moran Memorial Chapel, 156 North Main St. St Albans. Friends may call at the funeral home today form 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in the family lot in Georgia Plains Cemetery. T J Moran is the funeral director.
