Glenn "Chick" Luttrell – age 76 of Lenoir City passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Lenoir City. Glenn was foremost known as a loving husband, devoted father and beloved "Papaw". Glenn worked at Y12 and K25 in Oak Ridge for almost 35 years and provided over 22 years of dedicated service to the community that he loved. His service for Loudon County included time served with Planning and Community Development, Loudon County Regional Planning and Commission/ Board of Zoning Appeals, and Loudon County Executive Planning Council. Glenn also served with the Lenoir City Regional Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. He was a member of Avery Masonic Lodge #593 F & AM.



Preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mabel McReynolds Luttrell: sisters, June Farren, Ruby Jones, Billie Luttrell, and infant sister. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Allen Luttrell; son and daughter-in-law Steve and Jane Luttrell of Peachtree Corners, GA; daughter and son-in-law Karen and John Hawk of Harrison, TN; grandchildren, Chris Hawk, Cori Luttrell, Chelsea Hawk and Rachel Luttrell; sisters, Edna Wise, Shannah Armstrong, Betty Wiggins, and Nancy Mikels; brother, Vernon "Bud" Luttrell and several beloved nieces and nephews.



The Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 11:00 a.m. including the Masonic service which will be conducted by the Avery Masonic Lodge.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 2085 Simpson Road E., Lenoir City, TN 37772.
