VIRGINIA HEIL, 86, formerly of 418 S. Walnut St., New Bremen, died on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 7:25 A.M. at the Grand Rapids Care Center, Grand Rapids, OH. She was born on June 23, 1923 in New Bremen, OH. She was the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Brockman) Kettler. In June of 1950 she married Arthur Heil and he died in July of 1983.

Survivors include her daughter Deb (Terry) Carmean of St. Marys, OH., her grandchildren: Stephanie (Scott) Schiff of Bexley, OH., Johanna (Tige) Sealscott of Nashville, TN. and Nate Carmean of St. Marys, two great granddaughters Gaby and Emma Schiff and her siblings Eunice (Herbert) Hay of Coldwater, OH., Gloria Gross of St. Marys, Louise Kettler of Wapakoneta and Louis (Cora) Kettler of Wapakoneta.

Preceding her in death was her brother Thomas Kettler and her sisters Shirley Kettler, Lucille Bulpin, Gestine Kuck and Norma (Barney) Lampert.

Mrs. Heil was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen with Rev. Stephen Wills officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the Willow Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Wednesday.
