Greenwood - Mrs Jessie Hinton, 81, of Rt 4 Greenwood, widow of James Hinton, died Monday at 5 am in Anderson Memorial Hospital (after 2 years of declining health).
She was a native of Greenwood County, daughter of the late Sam and Mary Elizabeth Jones Hinton. She was a member of Tranquil Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Frank Norman of Greenwood, 3 sons, Sam, J C "Doc" and Herbert Hinton of Greenwood.
