It appears that Apollonia Meyer was born around 1714 (sponsored a baptism in 1731), and lived in Oberhochstadt, Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany before coming to America (with her husband Adam Deshler in 1741) followed by the Meyer, Wolf and Bortner families of Oberhochstadt in 1751. In 1763 Apollonia's husband, Adam Deshler, became the guardian of three of the orphaned children of Andrew and Mary Meyer of Heidelberg Twp., Pennsylvania.
