Sarah Van Wyck (1806 - 17 Oct 1830) was the daughter of Theodorus Van Wyck (26 Dec 1776-14 Apr 1840) and Mary Howell Stretch (1780-4 Apr 1847), both of whom were from prominent colonial families. Sarah died at the birth of their second son.

Inscription

On an obelisk marker: Departed this life at the late residence near Pemberton, New Jersey: James Budd, Esq., and Sarah Van Wyck, his beloved wife, deeply lamented, leaving two orphaned children to mourn their loss: Walter James Budd and Abraham Van Wyck Budd. Mary Stretch Van Wyck, who erected this monument, b. 1780; d. 4 April 1843; her son Abram Van Wyck, b. 10 March 1801; d. 25 August 1853; in loving memory Sarah Van Wyck Magruder 20 October 1902
