Martha Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ivey was the last of twelve children born to Andrew Jackson Ivey and Sarah Jane Harman. According to the 1900 census she was born May 1862 however her death certificate shows 1 May 1855. She doesn't appear in the 1860 census and was 7 years old when the 1870 census was taken, therefore 1855 as her year of birth is incorrect.

Lizzie married William Jessie Vinson, son of Nathan Vinson and Abigale Pope, on 30 Dec 1880 in Clarke County. While only 10 children lived to be adults, family history says they may have had a total of 21 children.
