Charles A. STUMP, 73, died 6 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital. He had a heart attack at 5:30 a.m. at his home, six miles northwest of Fairfield and was DOA at the hospital.
Born Feb. 10, 1890, in Jefferson County near Libertyville, son of James and Harriet MARTIN STUMP. On Apr. 12, 1918, married Erma Ferrel and they farmed in the Libertyville community until eight years ago when they moved to their home near Fairfield. Member Methodist Church.
Survived by wife and one daughter, Mrs. Darlene Fogland of Loveland, Colo., and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
