Katherina Flohr, daughter of George and Julia (Graff) Peppler, was born Apr. 27, 1893, in Hussenbach, Russia. She was baptized in infancy and received Christian instructions before being confirmed at the customary age. She arrived in America in 1907 with her parents and lived at first at Fort Collins, Colo. She married Jacob Flohr in 1910 and the marriage was blessed with five children, of which a son preceded the mother in death. Mother Flohr was an active member of the Salem Congregational Church at Scottsbluff, Neb. After a short illness, she died Nov. 7, 1964 at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 11 days. Survivors include her husband; 2 sons; 2 daughters; 4 brothers; 1 sister; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. May the dear Lord comfort the mourners.
