Funeral services for Mrs. Arsula Stanley Burch, of Rentz, will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at 2:00 PM at the New Providence Baptist Church, 3127 Fountain Road, Cadwell. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Ed Northcutt will officiate. Mrs. Burch, who passed on May 27, was born September 14, 1921, in Laurens County to the late Hattie Wilcher and Isaac Stanley. Mrs. Burch attended Fleming Chapel School in Laurens County. On May 22, 1943, she was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Mr. Monroe Burch, who preceded her in death. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church where she served diligently until her health failed. She served on the Deaconess Board, the Missionary Board and on the Kitchen Committee.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Oscar Stanley; three sisters, Mabel Hicks, Annie Maude Wright and Cora Lee Hankins; a stepson, Benjamin Burch, Sr. and a nephew, Semmion Horne.

Mrs. Burch is survived by six devoted grandchildren, Veronica (Howard) McNeil Logan, Monroe (Janice) Burch, Barbara (Curtis) Watts, Fredda (Dana) Miller, John (Angela) Burch all of Rochester, New York and Benjamin (Sheryl) Burch, Jr. of Buffalo, NY, eleven great grandchildren; two special caregivers prior to her residency at Southland, Ms. Annie M. Edmond of Rentz, and Mrs. Joanne Burch of Athens; a dedicated nephew, Rayford (Lester) Wardlaw of Dublin and property caretakers, Mr. and Mrs. Garland Warren of Rentz and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday from 7-9 PM. Services By Dudley Funeral Home of Dublin
