Mr. Abrahamson was born in Ogden, Iowa, and moved with his parents to a farm west of Boxholm where he spent his entire life. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII serving in North Africa, Italy, and various parts of Europe.
Among his survivors are his wife Phyllis, two sons David(Ginette)of Westminster, Colorado, Rich of Fort Collins, Colorado, two daughters, Laura Bair(Chuck)of Omaha, Nebraska, Karen Jutting(Jeff)of Ames, eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff, Barb, Josh, Tara, Lindsay, Grant and Jared, and 11 great-grandchildren, Madison, Mallory, McKenzy, Tyler, Hannah, Jaxon, Lucas, Ella, Eli, Austin, and Micah.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 4 from 3-7 pm at the Carson-Stapp Funeral Home in Ogden.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 5 at 10:30 am at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lanyon with burial immediately following. Memorial contributions may be made to the Evangelical Covenant Church of Lanyon.
