Mrs. Angus McDonald passed away yesterday morning, after an illness of five weeks. Mrs. McDonald, whose maiden name was Mary Ann Donovan, was born at Richmond Hill, seventy-eight years ago this month. Shortly afterwards, the family removed to Barrie, where she resided till her marriage. She and her husband then settled in Mara near Uptergrove, where they lived for about forty years, coming to Orillia about fifteen years ago. They had fourteen children, of whom six survive--John, in Alaska; Goerge, of London, Ontario; Angus and Alexander, or Orillia; Mrs. Natha Calverley and Mrs. Malcolm Ball. Her husband predeceased her seven years. Mrs. McDonald had been a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church all her life.
