Jeremy Lee Vannorsdel was born May 5, 1979 at Takoma Park, Maryland. His parents are Merlin and Kathy (Kirchner) Vannorsdel.

Jeremy was a baptized member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hurley. He was Vice President of his Sophomore class at Viborg High School. He belonged to FFA, was on the Superior Honor Roll and was a candidate for the National Honor Society. Some of his favorites were hunting, snowmobiling, farming, feeding the cattle, playing with his dog, camping, traveling, the computer, the 4 wheeler, his red pickup, doing things with his hands, working with wood, and being with his friends.

Jeremy passed away at Viborg from injuries sustained in a car accident on January 29, 1995. He had attained the age of 15.

Jeremy Lee Vannorsdel, 15, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 1995, at Viborg, from injuries received in a car accident.

Jeremy was born May 5, 1979, in Tacoma Park, Md., and lived most of his life in the Viborg area.

He was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hurley and an FFA member. He was the vice president of his sophomore class at Viborg High School, and was on the Superior Honor Roll as well as a candidate for National Honor Society.

He is survived by his parents, Merlin and Kathy Vannorsdel of Viborg; one brother, Scott of Viborg; and his grandparents Evelyn Vannorsdel of Viborg. and Robert and Dorothy Kirchner of Canistota.

Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Viborg School Gymnasium with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Viborg.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5:30 p.m. today at Viborg Funeral Home, and will resume at 6 p.m. today at Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hurley.

A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the church.
