For the past 40 years, Harry owned and operated Crouch's Market in Pike's Peak. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, watching old western movies and NASCAR.
Born June 29, 1928, in Brown County, he was the son of Alfred Ralphy "Doc" and Nellie Ester Moore Crouch. He married Norma R. Eggeman on Dec. 29, 1961.
Survivors include his wife; children, Caroline Knoy of Brownstown, Steven Wendell (Debbie) Crouch of Columbus, Connie (Gary) Fields of Seymour, Ragene (Dennis) Heath of Daytona, Fla., Brenda (James) Ault of Medora, Mona (Jeff) Wray of Brownstown, and Harry W. (Gaylynn) Crouch Jr., Stephens City, Va.; grandchildren, including Levi Dyllion Bragg, Garrett Lee Fields, Katherine Nellie Crouch Fields, Josephine Marie Fields, Samantha Knoy, Sarah Knoy, Angie (Jeff) Bean, Joshua Heath, Michelle (Todd) Stout, Natalie Ault, Kandy (Tim) Wischmeier, Rane Aline Crouch Alexander Williams,Lindsay Marie Crouch, Sadie Marie Crouch Gregory Allen Crouch and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Gwen Truex and Lois Hatton Brown.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10?a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, Washington Street, Columbus, with the Rev. Roy Hendershot officiating. Burial will be at New Bellsville Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8?p.m. Thursday and from 9?a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Bellsville Cemetery Headstone Restoration Fund.
