Ronald H. Bramstedt, 67, of rural Elkhart Lake, passed away at his home Wednesday evening, May 29th, 2013 after a 27 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

On July 29th, 1967 he married the former Joann Nauschutz at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove where he was a lifelong member. Ronnie worked at Hayssen for a year before returning to the Bramstedt homestead in the Town of Herman to farm with his parents. In 1976, Ronnie and Joann purchased the dairy farm and operated it for 30 years before retiring in 2006. He was an usher and greeter at Trinity Lutheran Church, a founding member of the Lakeshore Driftbusters snowmobile club, and also held a term on the zoning committee for the Town of Herman. He loved watching both Nascar and the Packers, feeding and watching the birds in his yard and going for a ride in his Mustang convertible.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Joann, three children, Vicki (Jon) DeRuyter of Cedar Grove, Timothy (Virginia) Bramstedt of the Town of Sheboygan and Tanya (Jared) Zander of rural Plymouth; grandchildren Natalie and Jackson DeRuyter, Adison and Braelyn Zander, baby boy Zander due in October, and Alex (fiancé Crystal) Kornetzke; mother-in-law Eda Nauschutz of Howards Grove and sister Marlene (Robert) Ruh of rural Elkhart Lake.
