Lindy L. Lechner passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Harper Hospital at the age of 83. He was born on September 14, 1929 to George Leonard and Velma Geneva (Norris) Lechner. He attended school at Adams High School.

He married Leona Kahmeyer on November 11, 1951 at Nashville, KS. To this union six children were born, Gary, Wes, Randy, Deb, Sharon, Patty. They made their home in Harper where Lindy owned his own custom harvesting crew and also farmed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Gary; brother Delbert Lechner sisters; Geneva Dies, Georgia McDaniel, Judy Crouch; granddaughter; Samantha Mark.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Leona; sons, Wes of Harper and Randy (Kelly) of Tulsa, OK ; daughters, Deb Schulte (Garth), of Spearville, Ks ; Sharon Baker (Bruce) of Pratt, KS; and Patty Simpson of Mangum, OK; Nine grandchildren, Thirteen great- grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
