The funeral of Richard G. Claggett, who committed suicide early Wednesday morning at his home in Tuscarora, took place Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
Services were held in Calvary Methodist Episcopal church at Mt. Airy and were conducted by the pastor. Rev. Philip Edwards. Two organ selections, "Abide With Me" and "The Old Rugged Cross" were rendered by Mrs. Norman Etzler. Casketbearers were: Carroll L. Shry, Lee F. Titus, John A. Dove, Town B. Titus, W. A. Shook. Jr. W. Milo Chick. Interment was made in Piney Grove cemetery, Mt Airy. C. E. Cline and Son, funeral directors.
