Lincoln-August Paul, 90, of 2733 South 13th Street, Lincoln, died Tuesday in Lincoln.

He was born September 8, 1878 in Germany and moved to Lincoln from Beatrice in 1936, where he was an engineer at Gooch's Mill until his retirement in 1948.

Surviving him are six sons, Ewald, Fred, Arthur, and William, all of Lincoln; Rudolph of Wymore; Otto of Beatrice; four daughters, Mrs. Alex (Minnie) Martin, Lathrop Village, Michigan; Mrs. Ray L. (Frieda) Morris, Omaha; Mrs. Harold (Vera) Bastron, Lincoln; and Mrs. Patrick (Marie) Noonan, also of Omaha; a brother, Fred of Beatrice; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Kaminska and Mrs. Emma Trautwein, both of Beatrice; 22 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. He was precedied in death by his wife Augusta in April of 1968 and a son, Gerhardt, in 1936.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Harman Mortuary chapel, with the Rev. V.P. Schroeder officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Home Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour before the service.

A memorial has been established to the West Side Baptist Church with Harman Mortuary in charge. Harman Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
