"NORTH CANTON - Verna Climes, 78, died suddenly Friday afternoon at Windsor Medical Center in North Canton. She formerly resided at 3822 State st., Northwest, North Canton. She was a member of the Comet Bethel Baptist Church in Comet, O. She attended the Greentown Church of the Nazarine. She was preceded in death by her husbadnd {sic}, Carl in 1970 and sister, Ida Zimmerman. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Roy (Ruth) Zengler, of North Canton, O., Mrs. Carl (Dorothy) Wise, of North Canton, O.; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 stepgreat-grandchild; sister, Mrs. Albert (Mary) Schmitt, of Manchester, O. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Button Funeral Home with Rev. Randall L. Hilscher, officiating. Burial will be in Greens-burg Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m."
