She loved raising her children and gardening. Preceded in death by parents, John and Ella Buhl; son, Neal Stooksbury; sisters, Lillian Babb, Artie Stooksbury, Bertha Abbott and Mary Bean; brothers, Clyde Buhl, Gleason Buhl, Otis Buhl, Elmer Buhl and Bill Buhl.
Survived by husband of 65 years, Ulysses O. Stooksbury; children, Stan Stooksbury and wife Cindi, Myles Stooksbury, Karen Bumgardner and husband James, Sheila Allen and husband Richard and Holly Stooksbury; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and also step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Steve Foster officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:45 AM, Wednesday, at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for a 12:00 PM interment.
