Mrs. Bertha Grohman, wife of Charles Grohman, of 139 High street, died Saturday night about 10 o'clock in her home. She had been in poor health for some time. She was 71 years old and had been a resident for nearly thirty-seven years.
Mrs. Grohman is survived by her husband, Charles Grohman; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Ohlott, of Woodbridge; Mrs. Anna Anderson of Pittstown, N.J.; Mrs. Emma Baker, of Avenel; and two sons, Kurt and Arthur Grohman, both of this borough. Mrs. Grohman is also survived by a brother, Gus Litche, who lives in Staten Island, and by nine grandchildren.
The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the late home and were largely attended. Interment was made in the family plot in the Rahway Cemetery, Rahway, N.J.
