Dorothy M. Caster, 87, of Greensburg, passed away on May 27, 2013. She was born on March 25, 1926 in Decatur County, the daughter of Charles and Grace (Towler) Phillips. On March 6, 1948 she married Aaron L. Caster. Dorothy retired from BCA of Greensburg after 24 ½ years of service as an assembler on March 25, 1988. She was a member of the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include: Daughter- Karon (Benny) Smiley, Son- Donald (Monica) Caster, 6 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Step Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her Parents, Husband, Brothers- Robert Earl, Joseph, Charles, James, Howard, Thomas, and Scott Phillips, Sisters- Helen Wasson, Corrine Caster, Laura Warren, Frances Smith, and Wilma Jean Dugle, Daughter- Sharon Miller, and Son- Aaron Ray Caster.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be at the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:00 am. Rev. Jeff Sangl will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
