Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Carrie Mae Head, Mrs. Leacy Boyd, both of Atlanta; sons, Hubert P. Atkins, Kennesaw, John T. Atkins, Russellville, Ala., Jesse J. Atkins and Arthur B. Atkins, both of Atlanta; sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Shores, Miss Mahalee Atkins, both of Jasper, Ala.; brother, George W. Atkins, Atlanta; grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Collins Funeral Home.
