She was born January 4, 1891 in Pine Valley, Washington County, to Isaac and Partha Ann Barney Hunt. She married Ralph Thomas Carter on November 23, 1910. He died May 15, 1968.
She was an ordinance worker in the St. George LDS Temple for many years and was also a guide in the Relief Society.
She is survived by one sons and three daughters, Mrs. Lothair (Marie) Mangum, Provo; Mrs. Dean Allred, Ogden; Howard H. Carter and Mrs. Loranine Avery, both of St. George, 28 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Metcalf Mortuary, St. George, tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. George Cemetery.
