Thomas Horn and Sally Horn - Thomas Horn came from New Hampshire and married Sally Tucker of Dexter. They lived on what is called Horn Hill in Ripley, a beautiful location overlooking Lake Wassokeag and a large portion of the village. Some of the buildings are still standing. They would gather their neighbors for prayer meetings in the large kitchen of the farmhouse. He would lead in the singing. Sally Horn being in ill health went to Bangor for treatment, dying there in 1855. Thos. Horn died in 1864.
