Amanda Sophie Wilhelmine Hirschfield nee Aue was born in New Bremen, Ohio on the 24 of February, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs August Aue. She grew up a strong and healthy girl and was the delight of her parents and friends always cheerful and pleasant, a willing worker and for a number of years the faithful assistant of her mother in her household duties. on the 24 of April 1902, she was married to Emil Hirshfeld with whom she lived happily and contented and always enjoyed good health until after the delivery of a stillborn child a few weeks ago she began failing and in spite of all that was done for her recovery, died on Wednesday evening, June 17, at the age of 21 years, 3 months and 23 days. Interment will take place Sunday afternoon on Willow Grove Cemetery. Rev. Fischer will conduct the last sad rites in St. Peters church at 2 o'clock.
