Mildred Pryor Edmondson, 95, formerly of Owenton, died Oct. 28 at Llanfair Retirement Center. Born Sept. 2, 1908, in Owen County, the daughter of the late Claude and Bessie Smith Pryor, she was a homemaker and a member of the Long Ridge Baptist Church and Eastern Star. Survivors include her son, Ben Edmondson of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; daughter Nedra Jane Michael of Cincinnati; brother C.F. "June" Pryor of Owenton; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Luke Edmondson, and one brother, Winfred Pryor, and one sister, Faywood Wright.
Funeral services were held Oct. 30 at McDonald & New Funeral Homes with the Rev. Sam Owens officiating. Burial was in the Owenton Cemetery.
