COL. EUBANK PASSES AWAY
Col. R. N. Eubank, a venerable and highly esteemed resident of Jackson, died yesterday at the residence of his son, in Asylum Heights, after a brief illness.
Col. Eubank was one of the pioneer citizens of Rankin county, and owned large planting interests across the river in the early ante bellum days. For several years he had made his home at the residence of his son, Mr. R. N Eubank, proprietor of a mercantile establishment at the corner of Church and Farish streets. The funeral took place at the family residence this afternoon and was largely attended.
