Helen K. Barron, 76, of 23 Cottage St., Dansville, died Wednesday (Sept. 7, 1988) unexpectedly in Noyes Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Born Apr. 22, 1912 in the Town of Ossian, she was the daughter of Harvey and Jane VanMiddlesworth Knapp.

She was a member of the Dansville Presbyterian Church and a former member of Deborah Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and Opportunity Circle of King's Daughters Home.

Mrs. Barron was a beautician at the Campbell's Beauty Shop for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Edwin T. Barron; two brothers, Howard Knapp of Tucson, Ariz., and Hugh Knapp of Dansville; two sisters, Mary Sterner of Dansville and Margaret Vosteen of Rochester; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, West Sparta. Arrangements are by Hindle Funeral Home.
