CLEMIETINE STACY VIARS
CLEMIETINE STACY VIARS, 97 years of age of Oakwood, VA passed away Monday, June 6, 2005 at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, VA. Born on lower Big Branch section of Dismal River, Buchanan County, October 13, 1907, she was the daughter of the late James Stacy and Nancy Dawson Stacy. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County, a member of the Deel Church of Christ, a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant daughter Nevile Viars; five sisters and six brothers.

She is survived by three sons: Hubert Viars and wife Beatrice of New Castle, VA, Mason Viars and wife Nell of Bristol, VA, Ralph Viars of Oakwood, VA; one brother: Worley Stacy and wife Peggy of Pontiac, MI; one sister-in-law: Ocie Barker of Bluefield, VA; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service for Clemietine Stacy Viars will be conducted Thursday, June 9, 2005 at 12:00 noon with Evangelists: Bobby Yates, Larry Arnold and Fred Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, VA.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday. Evening service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
