Mrs W.F. Skinner

Elizabeth Susan Staley was born May 2 1874 at Marion* Penn. and died at Kings daughters hospital following a very critical operation, Mon Dec 11 1922 at the age of 48 years 7 months 9 days. She was married to W.H. Skinner* in 1907.
Three children were born to Mr. & Mrs Skinner, Gladys Edna, Erford William and Bertha Smith. Of these Gladys precedes her mother in death. Mr. Skinner died about 2 years ago
Mrs Skinner began failing in health a few months ago and it was because of this that she submitted to the operation from which she hoped to be relieved, but it was not to be so.
She signified her willingness to submit to the will of her Heavenly Father on Sunday afternoon before her death, when she confessed Jesus Christ as her savior and was received into the membership of the Perry Methodist Episcopal church. She was christened in childhood.
The loss of Mrs Skinner is sustained by the children, brothers and sisters and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Philips undertaking rooms Tues afternoon by Rev Charles M Edmonson after which interment was made at Violet Hill.
