JOLIET, Ill. — Floy M. Fort,76, died peacefully at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family at her side.

She was a homemaker for much of her life but was proud of the years she worked as an assembler for Rockwell International. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survived by one daughter Jane (Kenneth) Fort-Bromberek of Seneca; two sons Bradley (Karyn) Fort of Plainfield, and William D. Fort of Romeoville; five grandchildren Nicole, Kyle and Madison Bromberek, Karyn (Bruce) Godfrey and Brendon (Amanda) Fort; and four great-grand-children Christopher Webb, Connor Godfrey, and Brady and Jackson Fort.

Her husband Keith Fort (2006); parents William J. and Sarah (nee Shaw) Foster; twin daughters at birth Jean and Joan; one brother William E. Foster; and one sister Lila R. Foster preceded her in death.

Graveside services for will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Maroa Cemetery, Maroa, Ill. Memorials in her name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, Ill.
