Mrs. Edith Irene Jarrett Burdette, 87, of Edmond, WV died Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was born December 24, 1918, at Greenview, Boone Co., WV, a daughter of the late Abraham Lincoln Jarrett and Clara Ann Kirk Jarrett.
Mrs. Burdette was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by one son, Fred L. Burdette and one grandson, Todd Burdette.
Survivors include her husband, Fred Ferris Burdette; one son, Roy Martin Burdette of Gauley Bridge; two daughters, Gloria Treadway of Edmond and Shirley Ann Maddy of Princeton; one brother, Rev. Anderson Jarrett of Waverly, TN; one sister, Reba Hodge of Belva; 10 grandchildren.
Service will be 1 PM Tuesday at Montgomery Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Anderson Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
