Death of Absalom Lasher

Absalom Lasher, age 64 years, a retired farmer, who made his home with his niece, Mrs. Samuel John, of north Water street, died Saturday afternoon at 3:30. He is survived by two brothers, Daniel, of Derrick City, and Benjamin, of Emlenton. Funeral services will be held at the Limestone church at 10: 30 Tuesday morning. Interment will be held in the adjoining cemetery.

Absolam Lasher, age 64, of Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania died at 3 p.m. on Sunday July 31, 1921 in Kittanning. Mr. Lasher a farmer by trade, was born in Pennsylvania the son of Benjamin Lasher and Sarah Wolfe. Funeral services were in charge of undertaker H. E. Montgomery of Kittanning. Burial was made on Tuesday August 2, 1921 in Limestone cemetery. Information was provided by Mrs. Samuel John of Kittanning.

After the death of his sister Laura J. (Lasher) Crissman in 1901 he raised her following 4 children:

(a) Goldie M. Lasher Bagnall

(b) Myrtle May "Mertie" Crissman Wyant

(c) Ralph H. Crisman Feb. 5, 1896

(d) Clyde C. Crissman

Laura J. (Lasher) Crissman's fifth child Mollie P. Crissman Kaltenbach-Wilcox was raised by her other brother, Daniel Harvey Lasher
