Marion Rae Ingels, 70, resident of Emmett since 1920, died Saturday morning in a local hospital. He was a bee keeper.

Mr. Ingels was born May 10, 1885 at Mariden, Iowa, and attended Iowa State College. He moved to Green River, Utah, in 1900 and in 1902 moved to Emmett, returning to Green River in 1905. He was married Jan. 22, 1916 to Eva Lewis at Green River. He moved to Fruitland in 1918 and later returned to Emmett. Mrs. Ingels died Oct. 22, 1947.

He was a member of the Christian Church, Butte Lodge No. 37, AF & AM, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Gem County Farm Bureau, Idaho Hunting Association and Sioux City Hunting Association.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mava Colburn and Mrs. Bess McDoniel, both of Emmett; two brothers, J. Fred Ingels of Maynard, Iowa, and J. Errest Ingels, Clearwater, Wis., and five grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Beatty chapel with the Rev. Donald Hoffman officiating. Interment was at Riverside.
