*Note Freedensfeld-Quast Cemetery -Lawrence Quast knew that the cemetery was purchased from Gottlieb Hemmerling, and the Freedensfeld church was in that corner. The Freedensfeld church was Congregational, later disassembled and the usable lumber was used by the Pilgrim Congregational Church. The area was served in the early days by a Lutheran church also.
